Welcome to our world

Looks so peaceful, clean and pure right now. This is how I like it. Not when it becomes sullied by our human touch, like so many things seem to do.
My winter mood often becomes darker and much more thought provoking. Strains my poor little brain and often irritates others. Unintentional, just is. On that note, have you ever pondered why we are not ALL just humans? First and foremost....humans. Does the word human, come from humane? Apparently not. Why do we have to divide into races,etc that create a separateness? Why shouldn't humanity be humane? Look around our world. We don't have to all be alike. Yet, we can be more tolerant, kinder, more gentle and try to be understanding of the differences, without doing so much harm to one another. Wouldn't that be picture perfect, like the peaceful, snow scene above?

Sharing a feeder!
Let's all picture that and see if we can make it happen, at least, in our own little world.

Next, just so you know, besides thinking, too much, a couple pieces of pine coiling have been completed and delivered to Hamley's in Pendleton. They appear to be well stocked with lots of items for anyone doing their Christmas shopping. A wide variety of western themed goods from which to chose! The smell of leather permeates the store, which is an added feature for me. Plus that old style building is just perfect! So, if you happen to be in Pendleton, stop in and just enjoy.
