Shut Down????

Finally!  We both have our Pass cards.  That ordeal is past, and with the infinite wisdom of our Government, we now have the "Shut Down."  How very nice.  How very productive.  Nothing makes sense to us lowly commoners, stuck out here with the consequences of their stupidity.  It would be so wonderful to see those responsible for these insane decisions, to have to "walk a mile" in the commoners shoes.  Why, oh, why were they given the power to "control" us beyond reason?  How on earth, would they function under the circumstances imposed on we the average?  It certainly would be gratifying to require them a "taste of their own medicine."  Talk about "terrorists!"  Have our own shorelines, public lands, basic rights and the premise of the Constitution not been left to chance, while these supposedly intellectuals run us closer and closer to destruction?  Oh, well, most good sheep are slaughtered, aren't they?
