Surely, we have all been fortunate enough to have met new people that leave us with the impression that the world is interesting and good! Our BLM camping neighbors are just that!! They have introduced us to desert scapes we would have never seen and that cannot be described by mere words nor photos. How many really new friends would loan you their new 4 wheeler and take you with them 18 miles or so into the desert and mountains? They took us to "Dripping Springs", a little more than a stroll into the back country, where water is a scarce commodity, and yet, in a tumbled ravine, in a small cave water literally drips, a drop at a time, from the rocks.
Cool, isn't it!! The ride to get there was wonderful. Sunny, warm, wind in your hair and a bit of dust up your nose! Then there was the incredible variety of landscape and scenery! Old mines, miner's cabin (visited by many leaving their mark), rocks and, cacti.
