Middle of May......

Except for the bit of basket top showing, upon which the weathered sign board is resting, this is an example of some of a variety of signs my son and I have collaborated upon.  Art, perhaps not;  fun, yes;  creative, why not?  Shows, I, or we, attend will have these plus selections of other art, craft, or some category that suits us at the time dependingupon availability.
Pine needle coiled baskets currently are reserved for Hamley's Western Store in Pendleton, Oregon.  I remain honored to have them available there and am so pleased that they are selling well.
Have any of you noticed that when your interest becomes peaked by a whole host of creative endeavors and permission to break some of the countless rules we may have associated with our artwork or style, that chaos in your art/craft space has erupted all over the place?   Bits of this and bits of that scattered here and there while you scuttle about trying to find just the right piece of whatever to make your project pop?  Well, that's "life in the fast lane," isn't it?
A couple shows are speeding towards their dates.  First on my list, is Weston, Oregon's Pioneer Days, June 4th, held in the Park.  It begins with the local Firemen preparing a hearty breakfast that begins serving at 5:30a.m.         Vendors with a selection of merchandise will be set up by 9:00a.m. and the Parade begins at 10:00a.m.  The festivities run down at 4:00p.m.  So, perhaps that event will fit onto your calendar for June.  Next "Love of  Junk," June 17th and 18th.  My understanding is that it is a BIGGIE!  Excited to be going.  Sounds like so much is offered and all unique and pretty much repurposed or vintage. This is held at the Swenson Farm, 253 Valley Chapel Road, Walla Walla, Washington 99362, very near Oregon State line.  Worth checking out their website: www.loveofjunk.com.

A couple views of new fantasy box that will be for sale.

Jo, sounds like you 2 are really going to town in getting ready for next month. Here's hoping you have a wonderful time and sell out all your stock so you can make more individual things for the next shows.

Glad it sounds so impressive, Carol. Not sure that's the case, nor that it's viable! Take care.
