Finally!!  Finally, the basket for my daughter's Birthday last July
is finished!  Nothing like being late, right?  Really late?  A relief to
not have it on my mind, but it's nearly time to start all over with creative endeavors for two March Birthdays!  Those two girls already have their pine coiled pieces.  Yes.  They, also, were late.
Perhaps something simple and really quick would be a better choice.  As anyone that does pine coiling knows, it is not a fast process.  Especially making it around and around one that grows to 20".  Almost every time I begin, it is my intention to keep it medium size.  Not sure what happens, but as "it talks to me," it seems to grow larger and larger.  Actually the small tray piece in the top photo did stay medium size.  It adds to the inventory of coiled pieces currently available.  Good intentions to begin a couple new pieces this week.  Need one for "show and tell" in a demonstration scheduled for next week.  That takes pressure off, as it does not need to be complete for me to use as a piece to show technique.
Worked up three sets of alcohol ink tile, coaster sets just to add to inventory, also.  Purchased a large 9" tile to do a scenic layout upon which is in progress, as well.  After all, before we know it local craft shows will begin and it should be fun to attend a few.
Sunshine does inspire me to create and stimulates me (a bit) to be more active.  Not sitting in a blue funk certainly feels better but I know we cannot have continual sunshine and expect things to be in harmony.  We all know peace and harmony would be a very wonderful thing to achieve in this world of seeming chaos.  One step at a time, I guess, starting within ourselves.  Wish I could stick to my own theory!
Remember to please let me know if I can pass on information for any events you might have knowledge about or wish to spread the word.  Seems a PDF is necessary for me to re-post.
Wishing one and all a February of pleasure and ease.

Ahh, Carol. You are such a loyal and complimentary supporter. Thank You. Especially appreciated your encouraging response to my son, Joshua's, creative awakening. Know you are doing your creative projects, as well, and hope you have an outlet for them.
