New beginnings for one and all! Resolutions do not work for me, just adds guilt for all the projects planned and unfinished. A list usually helps, so items can be scratched off and an albeit false sense of accomplish can be felt. Besides, the items left on the list can be used as the seeds to begin a new one.
Thus, to each of you, a hardy wish for NEW BEGINNINGS with an enlightened journey for 2016!
The lovely, green, live tree with it's brittle needles has been retired and the ornaments put away for another time. A quiet New Year's Eve Celebration with a toddy and variety of snacks was shared peacefully by we three, my son, husband and self. All slipped away to bed before the strike of midnight without benefit of bells, whistles, or fireworks. Dull, you say, not at all. Just uneventful which, in and of itself, isn't so bad.
Now, another day has dawned and will unfold without benefit of plan, expectation, and has the freedom to emerge as it sees fit moment by moment. Wonder what it will bring?
