Alcohol Ink Paintings?.....on tiles

Having always tried to be quite realistic with my oil paintings, this is a new "ball game."  Perhaps it will loosen up my style when I pick up those oils and brushes again.  I feel it coming on, now to do it!  So many unfinished projects.  Actually have a painting of a train depot with old steam train once located in Morton, Washington,  begun about 30 years ago!  Shameful procrastination.
But....these are fun, and suppose each individual develops their own technique.  This is # 1 painting; #2 is much loser, and finished today with it's coat of sealer.  Will take both to Athena, Oregon Octoberfest, Saturday, October 3rd.  Did you hear, it's supposed to be showers!  First rain in days and days.
