Beeswax today?

Sun's up--temperature is climbing beyond 37 degrees, Don's taking "blankies" off the tomatoes and I have good intentions.
There are two baskets, one gourd ready for a touch of the beeswax process.  That should give me enough for a small inventory to possibly attend a couple local festivals coming up soon.  Can you believe that we found a reasonably local source for beeswax?  Vazza Farms out of Hermiston, Oregon.  Then can you believe we actually purchased 13#?  Now that is a chunk of beeswax and it a bit costly, too.  Maybe, if I'm on the ball, I'll include a couple photos later of a couple steps in that process.  So scary to see your pine needle creation turn into such an ugly piece of work before you actually finish that process.  Such a surprise to see and feel the difference it makes!!  Then a couple finishing accents, and on the "stuck on" page for your review!  Maybe, a note of which festivals I will try to attend, since my back surgery is healing so very well.
Have a great day!
Well, actually did the waxing part....here's photo's at this stage.
Un-waxed

Heavily waxed & unfinished!

Interesting. I see what you mean about the baskets looking as if they have been messed up. Will look forward to seeing them when you place them on your "stuck up" page. Glad you are looking forward to some festivals. CO
